“Ina was trapped for a reason…”.
Games very rarely let you play as the princess: the one who’s trapped, kidnapped, and powerless, waiting for some guy to come and save her. But in Aspire: Ina’s Tale, that’s exactly who you are: the girl who was placed under a spell of perpetual sleep in a tower, and who needs to make her own escape.
The tower is full of other prisoners, though, and Ina will have to find them and rescue them by solving platforming challenges and puzzles along the way. The tower itself feeds off the dreams of its inhabitants, which means rescuing them isn’t just about getting them out of a cage — they have to regain their memories, too.
