The Switch eShop isn’t short of shoot ’em up options, though Ratalaika Games and developer Petite Games are offering another slice of retro-styled action with Super Destronaut DX-2, which arrives on 2nd July priced at $4.99USD / €4.99.
Like the original, which struggled against the competition a little in our review, this leans heavily on Space Invaders-era aesthetics and gameplay. It lacks online leaderboards – perhaps understandable at a budget pricepoint – but promises 30 challenges and 5 different arcade modes.
